The Crosta Collection celebrates the dynamic play of shadows on stone surfaces. Its name is derived from the Latin ‘crusta’ and signifies surface or skin. The Dewdrop, a part of this collection, features embossed and engraved patterns alternately and symbolizes serenity and happiness.
Inspirations from the subtle patterns on the leaf
Drawing inspiration from the subtle patterning of leaf veins, the Foliage Collection highlights these often over-looked textures and brings them to the forefront. The Elm, a part of this collection, draws inspiration from the leaves of its namesake tree. It interprets the leaves’ natural vein networks into patterns, sizably scaling them up in order to bring them into focus.
Inspirations from Origami
The Ishi Kiri collection derives inspiration from the traditional Japanese paper-folding art of origami. It exploits the pleats and creases (as in paper) in multi-dimensional forms to create dramatic stone surfaces.
The Fasetto (Japanese for facet), a part of this collection, is a combination of several facets – each different from the other – that come together to create a beautifully symmetric surface. It is an embossed interpretation of the engraved pattern that graces the ceiling of the magnificent Taj Mahal in India.

The Kinetic Collection explores parametric movement; the word ‘kinetic’ has roots in the Greek word ‘kinetikos’ meaning motion. The collection’s surfaces appear to be in motion, adding a spirit of dynamism and life to natural stone.
The Kinetic #07, a part of this collection, symbolizes raw energy in flux. Its patterns create a three-dimensional effect, enhancing the play of light and shadow on the surface.
Inspirations from diverse forms and textures
The Breathing Surfaces add a new dimension to traditional Indian jaali (perforated or latticed stone screen) work. They draw inspiration from diverse forms and textures–parametric design, nervous system of leaves, natural fossils, and architectural forms.
The Raza, a part of this collection, is an ode to the work of celebrated Indian artist Sayed Haider Raza. While the master abstractionist used color to add interest to his paintings, the surface interpretation is largely monochromatic and relies on depth, texture, and dimensionality, to create a play of light and shadow on the stone surface.
